Gear UP 2026 is open to all incoming freshmen admitted to the University of the Philippines Los Baños for AY 2026–2027.
Gear UP 2026 is built around the specific rhythms, culture, and community of UP Los Baños. It is designed for students who are just beginning their UPLB journey — and reserved for incoming UPLB freshmen only.
Gear UP 2026 is designed for students stepping into UP life for the very first time. If you've already lived the UPLB life — congratulations! We'd love to reserve the remaining slots for first-time incoming students so we can help them gear up for what's ahead.
Gear UP 2026 is open specifically to incoming UPLB freshmen for AY 2026–2027. If your friend fits that description, they are very welcome — they'll just need to register separately.
None at all. Gear UP 2026 is completely free. Simply register and show up on your chosen date.
The event runs on two separate dates — July 31 and August 1, 2026 — with separate registration batches. The program is the same; simply choose the date that works for you.
Yes. You can switch to the other batch date using the link sent to your email after registration. No need to register again.
The event is held at 5/F Vega Center, beside UPLB Gate.
No need to print — just pull up your ticket on your phone and we'll scan the QR code at the entrance. That said, if printing gives you peace of mind, go right ahead! A printed copy works just as well.
Your ticket is displayed right after you complete registration, and a copy is sent to your email — so check your inbox (and spam folder, just in case) first. If you still can't find it, send us a message on Facebook and we'll help you sort it out.
